Animals such as Yaks and Dzos roam across the wild, in the Lahaul valley. One can see Ibex,
Brown bears, Foxes and Leopards during the winter. Most exciting activities are Yak safari,
to see the flora and fauna of the desert you can hire a Yak.
What make tourist attraction is mainly Tobo Monastery at the amazing attitude of 3050 m,
founded in 996 with 9 temples surrounded 6300 sqm by a high mud brick wall
which is declared as the world heritage site contains rare collection
of Scriptures, Pieces of Art and wall Paintings.
